General Questions


  • How do I order a product?

    If you have questions, need general or technical information or require pricing, contact us and one of our team members will discuss your requirements. 


    Phone: Available Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm to discuss your requirements. 


    E-mail: Send your queries to us at info@chromatec.com. All questions will be addressed within 24 hours of receipt.

  • I have a faulty product?

    All products are extensivly tested prior to delivery, however, if a product does develop a fault, we will happily help where possible. 


    Even if  you have Chromatec product that is out of warranty or a non-warranty item that no longer works we may be able to repair it for you. 


    Please read details about fault finding your product then contact us at: info@chromatec.com.


    Providing information such as the product you have, serial number (e.g 191000), and as much details about the fault as possible, and we will get back to you with instructions for dealing with your repair. 


    If possible, ensure that you use original packaging. Any products received in a damaged condition may not be covered by warranty. 


    For Modular Cards it is recommended Anti-static bags and bubble-wrap are used for shipping. 

  • I need to upgrade my existing system?

    Future expansion of additional video or audio input cards can be added up to the frames capacity. 


    1RU Frame has 4 slots dedicated to Video or Audio input cards.

    3RU Frame has 18 slots dedicated to Video or Audio input cards. 


    Additional expansion of Multiviewer systems can be added to current systems to have multiple Mutiviewers in one frame. 


    1RU Frame can handle up to two multiviewer instances

    3RU Frame can handle up to 9 multiviewer instances depending on the size of the multiviewers. See here for more information.


    Alternatively, if the 1RU frame currently being used has requiements that expands that frame - all cards can be ported to the MP-xx frame to expand your system. 

  • Software update?

    The software of both the Network and Multiviewer Controller card has regular updates - simply contact us and we will send you the link to download the latest firmware. 


    Please read - How to install firmware before attempting to update any product.
