Multiviewer with integrated router ideal for anywhere where high quality 4K monitoring of up to 32 signals is required
The SMP-xxR offers a flexible fully-features Multiviewer with integrated router in a 1RU frame including power supply. 

The SMP-xxR is 4K-UHD capable, offering 4K UHD inputs and two 4k multiviewer output heads with SDI routing capabilities up to 32x32 video matrix. 

Ideal for use in OB trucks, ENG Vans, live and post-production suites or concert venues. 

Additionally, there is an extra router that feeds the multiviewer scalers, to allow total control over the sources routed to each multiviewer tile. A 'destination follow' mode ensures that tiles automatically follow the source routed to a specified destination. 

Flexible control of the alarms and layout can be configured using the in built configuration software or other third party application, including Video and audio alarms displayed on each tile, configurable text, and bar colours, UMD, Tally, and metering bars. 

The SMP-xxR frames offer support for SW-P-O2 protocol that allows control from any Grass Valley control system, and other main manufacturers control systems. Other protocols including SW-P-O8 and RollCall are also fully supported.

MONITORING AND ALARMS

  • Audio metering may be sourced from SDI embedded audio groups (PCM or Dolby-E metadata meter segment), or externally via optional analogue and AES/EBU inputs with sample rate conversion)
  • Fully configurable audio metering up to 32 channels per video tile with left/right or split meters. 
  • Analog and digital clocks controlled by LTC input or NTP (Network protocol)
  • Teletext subtitles display (WST on SD-SDI or OP-47 on HD-SDI)

The SMP-xxR frame works in a modular sytem - with 4 slots allocated for Video Processing Cards - 8, 16, 24 or 32 input multiviewers can be easily configured. Analogue or digital input and output cards can also be added.
